At the premier of ‘Kalgejje’ the debut film of producer Nagabhushan and director Bangaru the stalwarts like Hamsalekha, Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar, PH Vishwanath, S Mahender lauded the effort of the newcomer after watching the film.
Well known producer SV Babu has taken up the distribution of this ‘Kalgejje’ film and it is one of the prime additions to the makers in the first attempt. According to SV Babu the film making is only 25 percent tough while 75 percent is the marketing and inviting the audience to the theatres is the tough job.
National award winning music director addressing the crowded attendance at Renukamba digital theatre in 18th cross Malleswaram feels Gandharva as music director has great ability in forging ahead with more opportunities. SV Babu coming to the rescue as distributor is a good development for the film felt Hamsalekha.
Director of national and international acclaim quoting an example of ‘Olave Mandhara’ recently released film said films should be allowed to stay in the theatre for one or two weeks. That is a tough task today and ‘Kalgejje’ has good strength because of stunning music, mind-blowing acting from Ananthnag, Sumithra and others.
Another popular director S Mahender is of the opinion that a good cinema also has some corrections. Even ‘Titanic’ English film could be altered. That is not point. It is important to make the film available to the people.
‘Kalgejje’ is releasing on this Friday 4th February all over Karnataka. Vishwas, Roopika, Ananthnag, Sumithra, Vishwa, Tabla Naani, S Mahender, V Manohar, TS Nagabharana, Sridhar, Ninasam Ashwath and others are in the cast.
